What an interesting tournament. Most records not just broken but broken several times. The largest individual bag was broken 3 times with Bill Walker leading the pack with 19.45 lb. Big team bag was also broken 3 times with Steve Reimer and Don Rowbotham having the big team weight at 34.15 lb. New big fish record as well with Kal Vaisanen bringing in a smallie that weighed 6.25. Only 55 fish weighed in so the success rate was only 57% which is quite low, and only 3 teams had a full 8 fish. The fish weighed an amazing 3.68 lb per fish which is surprising because most of us didn't get to cull out any small ones.. Congratulations to Steve Reimer and Don Rowbotham, our 2009 Lake Simcoe winners, Bill Walker for the largest bag and Kal Vaisanen for the big fish
