RESULTS, GLOUCHESTER QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT, SEPT 9, 2007
A tough day for many as only 63% of the available fish were weighted in. The catch included 29 smallies and 49 largemouth. Total weight was 155 lb with an average weight of 1.98 lb. A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Scott Shaw and Brian Moore who each brought in a good bag to win our last qualifier of the year. Aaron Anders had the biggest bag of the day which included the big fish and combined with his dad to finish 2nd. Bill found enough fish to finish 2nd in the individual rankings and lock up the AOY.
HOW DID THEY GET THEM? The winners got most of their fish on wacky style baits in 7 to 12 ft of water weighing in 6 largemouth and 2 smallies. Lots of other baits were used successfully including dropshots in 7 to 20 ft and a few shallow fish including the big fish of the day.
