| What a brutal day. Lots of rain that was pushed almost horizontal by the winds. The smallies had been biting all week and this should have been the best tournament of the year. Instead most of us struggled, with only Steve Rowbotham bringing in a full bag that was the second biggest of the year. Congratulations to Steve Rowbotham and Neil Macinnis, our Couch champions. Steve had the biggest individual bag and Gerry Heels had the big fish. Only 34 fish weighed in for a success rate of less then 40%. Good average size at 2.10 lb per fish. This is quite large considering the lack of culling. Scott Shaw wraps up an outstanding season to claim the Angler of the Year Title. |
