Six Mile Lake is often our largest tournament, and this year is no exception. Most of us feel this is a easy lake for limits but it was very tough this time. The largemouth did not co-operate and smallies dominated. Only 76 fish weighed in with 45 smallies. Small they were, as the average size was only 1.7 lb, our smallest average weight for the year. Only a 68% success rate which is very low considering that the weather was pretty good. Congratulations to Bill Todd and Leon Maloney, our 2006 Six Mile Lake champions and Bill Major who weighed in the largest fish, a 3.15 lb smallmouth.
