BASS LAKE QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT |
| What a great tournament. The rain held off and the fish had the feed bag on. Almost all limits which is great in 6 hours.The winners reported that they caught them an almost everything. Texas rigs, drop shots, spinnerbaits all played a part in water from real shallow to 10 ft or so. A big congratulation to our winners, Ryan Johnson and Dave Major who also took home the big fish prize with a 3.70 Largemouth. Ryan also takes the lead in the Angler of the year race, followed by Dan Wells and Aaron Anders. Thanks to all who helped out at the weigh-in. |
| Total fish weighed were 110 or 98% of the allowed catch. We had 20 smallies and 90 largemouth for a total of 110 which averaged 1.94 lb. Although smallmouth weren't plentiful it is interesting to note that of the 12 bags over 8 lb, 11 contained one or more smallies. |
